Former local newspaper staff journalist, most significantly editor of the Teen Spirit weekly youth/music page - "West Berkshire's answer to NME". Various freelance writing projects over the years; mainly arts/cultural (especially comedy and music) and lifestyle. Regular feature writer for Out & About magazine, arts reviewer and interviewer for Newbury Weekly News and www.newburytoday.co.uk, and occasional contributor to LouderThanWar, OMG! and LightsGoOut zine. Previously I was a regular columnist for Hobsons Publishing's Student magazine, and feature writer for overseas student and sports teacher/student publications and the Good University Guide. I have also produced copy and content for advertorial publications and features, for the Newbury Weekly News, including "Bring Music To Your Ears", which won Best Paid-For Advertisement Feature at the Newspaper Society's Weekly Newspaper Awards.
